I needed a variety of brushes to paint two house jobs and balked at the high cost of replacing... trusted Purdy and Pal brushes that I'd been using for 20 years. The Monarch and also Dulux brushes from Direct Paint were very reasonable and should suit my requirements. I have used both on another job recently and found they lay off paint well, clean up quickly and shed few if any bristles. Delivery was exceptionally fast and I'll order with confidence from Direct Paint when new equipment is required.read more

I live in Qld yet the best deal I could get on Cutek Extreme CD 50 10Litre (really expensive... decking oil!) was from Direct Paint in South Australia and this includes postage all the way from SA to QLD which only takes a few days. Speaks volumes about shopping around.read more

Business done right. Diamond in the rough these days. Been buying tools from here for years.... Usually the price is the best I can find. But if it's not, I still shop here. Why? Because as a tradesman painter, it is the only place I can completely kit myself out (besides a hammer and punch). I rarely take note of this but they seem to be real quick processing orders. Like it's on the plane the next day flying across the country. Got here 5 days early last time.Once some items were unstocked, they notified immediately. Then they ordered those items and sent it basically right away anyway. Missed one item once, but they got back to me in less than 12 hrs and sent the item on its way.read more
