Delivered to your door | Shipping policy changes as of 1st of July
Dear customer we have changed our freighting charges. Our aim is to offer great discounts on many of our products & a fast, efficient delivery service.
To do this we must charge freight on all orders. So from July 1st 2023 all Direct Paint shipments will have a small freight charge added. Australian Metro shipments are now $10 & Regional Shipments are $25. To see what areas are classified as metro or regional please see our freight table HERE. International freight shipments will continue to be charged depending on destination, weight & size.
Direct Paint will aim to dispatch your order within three business days. If a particular item is unavailable for dispatch within the above timeframes, the customer may be notified and either:
We use several standard shipping couriers, and several express post couriers. If you would like to enquire about which courier your order will be shipped with, please do not hesitate to send us an email. Direct Paint is always happy to opt for a certain Courier if the Customer requests it. Direct Paint will also upgrade any delivery service if the express fee is within the flat rate amount that the customer has paid on their order.
At Direct Paint we aim to get your order to you as swiftly as possible. Some orders require us to order in stock, and may add up to 5 days delay before shipping.
Below is the average standard delivery times for METRO areas in each state once your order has been collected from our couriers and scanned into their depot (times may vary, use this as a guide only):
– SA: 1-2 business day
– WA: 5-7 business days
– QLD: 3-5 business days
– VIC: 2-4 business days
– NSW: 2-4 business days
– ACT: 2-4 business days
– TAS: 4-6 business days
You will receive tracking information via email from our shipping platform once your order has been shipped. You can also contact us to aid you in tracking down your parcel.
It is very rare, but unfortunately sometimes packages become delayed while in transit. Once a package leaves Direct Paint’s warehouse, it is up to the Couriers for the prompt delivery of the package. Direct Paint will aid customers with enquiries directed at the Couriers, and do our best to locate any delayed or missing packages.
If a package is delayed or missing, Couriers request a two week period for them to locate the package in their depots before claiming the package as lost in transit. Direct Paint is unable to receive any updates prior to this timeframe. We understand this may be frustrating, but please allow this timeframe for a depot search, and respect Direct Paint Staff members who are assisting you in your enquiry.
