How to warm up a Black & White scheme

When it comes to colour schemes, Black & White is a very popular and timeless colour palette. However sometimes it can feel a little cold and stark. But what you team with your Black & White can make the world of difference. Think timbers, natural earthy materials such as jute and linen, stone, marble and tan leathers are all a good addition to a Black and White scheme without taking away too much from the theme. And think about layering the tones so adding different variations of whites or creams and blacks or charcoals to your space to also help create some softness that is sometimes much needed.
