I can’t sign in to my account?

At Direct Paint we have upgraded how you can utilise the accounts on our site. We now have two options for customers:

Option 1 is for Retail Accounts. This feature allows customers to create an account, save their details for future orders, and keep track of past orders. Gone are the days of forgetting which paint colour your had previously ordered, with this feature, all past order details are saved to your account for you to check when needed. You can create your own retail account HERE.

Option 2 is for all our Tradies and Business Owners, when creating your very own Trade Mates Account, you will need to fill in the details requested, including your ABN for your business, or the business you work for. You will also need to include your business name.
But that’s not all, all Trade Mates will receive a further 5% discount* on your order. They will also receive exclusive monthly emails for sales and free shipping offers throughout the year. You can create your Trade Mates Account HERE.

You can also sign up to receive our weekly newsletter and blogs at the bottom of each page. But please note, signing up for the newsletter is not creating an account with Direct Paint.

Is your discount system store wide? What items are excluded from sales?

Unfortunately some items and brands we cannot discount. Our store wide Trade discount applies to all accessories and clothing. The following items and brands are NOT included in the store wide discount, and also not included in any sales:
Our Specials Category, Paint, Waterproofing and Sealers, Anti-Graffiti, BAD Clothing, New Balance Shoes, Festool, Woodcare, Spray Machines and Units and Wallpapers.

How do I get a quote for freight?

Just like all businesses, Direct Paint has felt the pressure of the increase cost of living. Because of this, all orders will incur a small freight cost. All metro postcodes will incur a flat rate of $10.00, while all rural post codes will incur a flat rate of $25.00. This will be monitored over the next few months while customers adjust to the change of shipping policy. You can view whether your postcode is metro or rural HERE.

If you are an overseas customer, select your country first, then enter your town and Postcode/Zip into the fields to generate a quote.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! However, some products are not set up to be shipped internationally on the website, please contact us directly via chat or email so that we can generate a shipping quote for your order if you cannot get a shipping quote at checkout.

How do I mix paint correctly?

You can mix paint a couple of ways. In a store, they will normally put your paint in a automatic mixer which will spin your paint around for some time to ensure all tints have been mixed through the paint.

At home we do not have this option, so there are some tools that help us to do it.

Can you colour match for me?

Yes! Please contact us at [email protected] and we can gather information to make this happen.

I can’t track my parcel!

Sometimes our couriers experience high quantities of parcels, and because of this sometimes there are unexpected delays with delivery times and tracking information. If you are having an issue regarding tracking or delivery, please call us or send us an email to follow this up for you!

What if the colour I want is not on the website?

If you are after a colour that is not listed on the website, please email us to confirm we have a formula to mix this colour for you. It would be unlikely we would not have the formula, but it is best to check. We can then add to the colour listing for you, or will do a manual order for the colour you are after.

Can I call up and place an order?

At Direct Paint we want to make your experience effortless. You can place your orders via the website, through our chat feature or via the phone.

Can I return my clothing?

Yes. If you order an incorrect size, we are happy to issue an exchange or a refund, as long as the products are in original packaging, with tags and unworn. To do this, place your items in an Australia Post bag and contact us regarding the returns address.

How long will my delivery take to arrive?

At Direct Paint we aim to get your order to you as swiftly as possible. We strive to get your order shipped to you within 3 business days of receiving payment. Some orders require us to order in stock, and because of this you may receive your order in 2 shipments. Below is the average delivery times for METRO areas in each state once your order has been shipped:
– SA: 1-2 business day
– WA: 5-7 business days
– QLD: 3-5 business days
– VIC: 2-4 business days
– NSW: 2-4 business days
– ACT: 2-4 business days
– TAS: 4-5 business days
