As with other tip filters, the Graco TrueCoat tip filter acts as a debris catcher, to prevent dirt and debris from entering the spray pattern. Tip filters provide additional filtering when using a TrueCoat Pro tip to help reduce tip plugging and provide a higher quality finish. Using a filter at the tip guard will improve paint atomization, create less overspray, and help to provide better material coverage. 60-Mesh filters are best used with latex paints and like materials
