Outdoor Patios

Who doesn't love being outdoors?  These dreamy Outdoor Patios will leave you not wanting to go back indoors ever again!  It doesn't matter the size of your Outdoor Patio, it's all about making the most of the space you have.  Outdoor Patios are now seen as an extra room of the home and are now styled accordingly.  Long gone are the days of basic outdoor furniture as now it's all about making your Outdoor Patio as comfortable, stylish and inviting as it can possibly be.  Think outdoor floor rugs, design inspired furniture, coffee tables / ottomans, outdoor cushions, hanging seats and don't forget about the greenery whether used in landscaping or in pots scattered around your Outdoor patio.   Lighting is another important key feature when designing an Outdoor Patio.  Pendant lighting will give your outdoor space an intimate cozy feeling, as well as creating a feature.  Whereas if you want to create a little more softness and keep things simple then opt for fairy or festoon lighting.

Tip: If you are wanting to create a little drama and modernise your Outdoor Patio think about dark paint colours.  Charcoals and blacks are still the in-thing for colour when it comes to walls, architectural features like beams & framing timbers as well as furniture.  Going dark can be bold but you won't regret it as greenery always pops more against dark surfaces.  If dark isn't your thing, then look at a more neutral airy palette of whites and add warm textures such as timbers, rattans, linens and natural stones to lift a netural Outdoor Patio and to stop it from feeling too glarey and sterile.
