Cork was a huge trend from the past and now it's making its comeback!  Cork has many benefits - it's environmentally friendly and a sustainable product, is highly water resistant, has great sound barrier properties, hard wearing and a material that can be easily resurfaced.  Cork is especially great for flooring as it is warm and soft under foot, hypoallergenic, fire retardant and well priced.... but not only is it just used for flooring.  We show you other ways how you can use Cork in your interior and how practical and functional this material really is!

When many of us think of Cork material from the past, we think of flooring.  Yes, cork still is used for flooring and yes it has come along way with new designs, patterns and textures but now cork can be used for almost any type of surface - from feature walls, feature ceilings, furniture to even corked walls.... the options are endless!

Create these looks yourself with these paint colours & products:

When selecting paint colours to compliment cork, think of using colours with some warmth to them and nothing too cold or grey otherwise it will bring out too much yellow in the cork.  These neautral paint colours work well with cork, still giving the cork a modern/contemporary feel.
