Trend: Bamboo
Bamboo is still a current popular material seen on the latest runways and at furniture shows. Bamboo is a chic, robust and an eco-friendly product with so many uses from flooring, cabinetry, fabrics, fashion, furniture, home decor and structurally in building. It is also thermal-regulating (so perfect for bed linen), repels bad odours, highly absorbent and it is touted to be stronger than steel and more durable than red oak or maple wood. We thought we would revisit this ever so popular choice of material and see how effectively Bamboo can be used in your home.
Tip: Looking at screening off a room / space or trying to hide some shelves? Then think about using pieces of Bamboo to form your screen. It's a great way to add some texture to your space, while still retaining some natural day light without breaking the budget. Or if you really want to create a real eye opener within your space, add Bamboo to your ceiling!
