Add some sparkle with Glitter

Who doesn't love a bit of sparkle and shine?!  Whether you are trying to create a glamourous space or a pretty girl's bedroom, add some Glitter for instant sparkle.  Glitter can be used in key decor items such as furniture and accessories or in larger doses such as feature walls.  You can't go overboard with decorating a girl's room covered in Glitter, but if using Glitter in your main living areas then remember less is more if you want to keep your space tasteful.  And yes there is such a thing as Glitter Paint!  Now you can add Glitter to your space with Dulux Glitter Effects Paint.  Available in Silver, Rose Gold and Diamond, you can instantly transform your space or a piece of furniture and make it shine.  Check out these ideas in how to add some sparkle to your space with Glitter.

Tip: When using Glitter paint, think about the background it's going on.  Dulux Glitter Effects Paint can be applied over solid painted backgrounds (i.e. walls, furniture etc) and you can change the feel of the glitter paint with your background colour.  If you want to add some dimension to a solid painted contemporary wall, then opt for a darker contrasting paint colour for the background.  This will make the glitter colour pop, but will also keep your space feeling modern and up to date.  Whereas if you are wanting to create a "pretty" space and want a real glittery effect, then paint the background similar colour to the glitter, to accentuate the glitter and to create some softness.
